Are you sure you have chipsounds 1.501 installed?

Yep. I've posed the problem with the Sm Pro team and I will keep you informed.

You could also export the plugin on a USB key (from the vmachine), zip the content on the USB drive and
send it to me, i do log information on there.

dont publicly publish this zip as it would include your license! PM me for the link

Ok, I cant get this to work!

My V-Machine is updated to 2.0.20101204 and VFX is the same version. Everything works right on the VFX application, but when I export the library to usb-stick and then import it to V-Machine and try to load some preset I've made (OR your preset banks), it says "No VST in plugin: chipsounds". Syncing thru the vfx ends up the same way.

Can somebody help? Im doing this with Mac, and mac version of VFX works on Wine. So could folder structures or something end up VFX installing chipsounds someway wrong or something? Chipsounds is the newest version, 1.501 or something like that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

Sorry never tried VFX on mac, there are many things that can go wrong with a WINE VST host that you'd have to contact VFX Machine people I'm afraid. The version you have 1.501 is the one i use on mine and works great, of course i used the windows version.

Thanks for the reply David. I'll try to install VFX on my old pc laptop if it still is willing to wake up. I hope I can register chipsounds to that machine too. I'll let you know what happens for the sake of everybody getting the info, I cant be the only poor soul doing this with mac, heh.

Your license key will work on any of your machines, mac or pc.

Haha yes I am, if you mean those Lisäelämä Live videos, heavy chipsounds usage there:)

And I got it to work! No hope on mac but with my old PC, worked like a charm. Now I just have to do some control configs and I'm down to awesome MPC+V-Machine (Chipsounds)+ Doepfer Dark Energy livesetup!
