Minimize to tray | MIDI clock for out ports

Postby rund » Fri Jun 15, 2012 3:24 pm

Found this amazing tool yesterday, thank you so much!
I use it as a simple stand alone MIDI matrix to connect my masterkeyboards to the hardware expanders.

In this role, two further things would be awesome to see:
1) A "start minimized" and "minimize" function to send the program to the system tray
I then could load the program with windows autostart and instantly access my expanders with the default set.

2) MIDI clock generation for external MIDI ports
Maybe I just have overseen something existing, but due to the fact that my DAW isn't active when working with Bidule instantly and my masterkeyboard can't generate a clock signal for external devices it would be great to have a building block in Bidule I can connect to all MIDI out ports, permanently sending the clock to them

Thank you in advance,
rund

You can already do that with Sync To MIDI Clock, you need a Sync Source (like the Sync Transport) and then set the Sync To MIDI Clock to sync to that and connect the output to a MIDI Output device.

for starting minimized, can't you just make a short cut, set its properties to Run: Minimized, and then call that during startup?

I haven't tried it but I see the Run:Minimized capability in the shortcut.

Cool, Sync Transport is functioning :) Thanks!
(Very small thing: maybe you can add an option to start the clock automatically after loading the template?)

Sadly not functioning. I also think "minimized" would only send the window to the task bar, not to the tray.
