Hi C,

Will have a peak at your new layout . Have been working on a very simple audio-> envelope follower+ some logic -> midi cc generator to have Bidule as VST generate midi cc messages depending on if it detects incoming audio yes or not , in order to use Live (3,0,4) as an audio triggered sampler.

Preferably I would have been doing it all in Bidule , but I can't get my head around the audio buffer buidling block ...

Maybe it would be a nice community project , creating a Bidule samplergroup or sampler Bidule

;-)

If Live is the sampler, why do you need the audio buffer in Bidule? Or maybe I don't get the idea completely. But sounds interesting.

And yes, I often have problems with the buffer too...

Using Live as the sampler is the alternative to using Bidule's audiobuffer to create a bidule sampler.

Both methods have advantages , where the visual trimming of the recorded samples is one of the first that comes to mind .

But a sampler in Bidule which loads the samples in the mediapool and names them automatically at each recording process looks even more appealing ;-)

Is that possible as things are now?

Well audiobuffer already loads saved samples into the mediapool . The audiorecorder can do the automatic naming, that I know, but I'm not sure if this can be extended to the audiobuffer though ...

Is there anyway to change the fixed note to different ones? I want to duplicate this so that I have different sound triggers that control different clips.

Mine is always 1/0

Also do I use the setting in the envelope to just play around and decide what the incoming sound level need to be to trigger the midi note/cc?

Can I set a specific frequency range?

sorry for all the q's I am very new to bidule.
