MIDI Clock slow to arrive at regular speed

Postby Don Garbutt » Sun Feb 19, 2012 12:42 am

I have been trying to get a MIDI File to start in a stable fashion synced to external MIDI Clock by MIDI Clock to Sync, but the only way that I can do it is with MIDI File Player, with sync on "Override tempo" for a bar or so, then releasing the override. Any advice would be appreciated.

You mean the tempo changes aren't picked up quickly enough or something else?

To get changes quicker, put in a lower number than 24 into Use last n values (this is the number of tempo calculations used to make
the average that end up being the tempo from the MIDI Clock To Sync), you might have to experiment to find the best value for
your setup.

Round Tempo being enabled also helps but this is already done.
