VST-plugin not working in Cubase 6

Hi,

i am using early bird licence since a year. (have not used Bidule for some months)
It always worked great, but now i have a problem..:

I installed the newest version...Standalone works, but the VST shows a yellow screen when i open the GUI. (Cubase 6)
When i click on it, it becomes normal, but there are no inputs and outputs...+ nothing else shows up, no matter what i try to load from the bidule-library.

When i load bidule VST in a different host, it works...all is there.

Big problem...my setup-"idea" relies on Bidule. I am sooo sad.

I would be very happy, if anyone could help me with this.

Is that 32bit Cubase with 32bit BiduleVST or 64bit Cubase with 64bit BiduleVST or 64bit Cubase with bridged 32bit BiduleVST or all of them?

thanks very much for the reply.

It is Cubase 64bit (newest version) with the 64bit plug-ins.
I installed the newest 64bit Bidule-standalone before..then the plug-ins. (got two seperate downloads from the sticky newest-version-link/thread in the forum)
Bidule works in e.g. Kore2 64bit and Maschine 64bit as usual. (Cubase6 64bit, Kore2 64bit, Maschine 64bit and Bidule 64bit use the same plug-in folder)

But when i load Kore2 64bit in Cubase6 and then Bidule 64bit plug-in in that... there is also a blank working-field in bidule.
Which means i also cannot see/load anything from the library + no ins/outs + theres is no "scroll-square" in the right lower corner....all is very strange.
Every time i call the gui up, it is yellow/orange until i click on it.

Could you attach the bidulePlugin_Cubase.log file that is in c:\users\<your user>/AppData/Roaming/Plogue/Bidule ?
This looks like for some reason an OpenGL context can't be created when running under Cubase on your machine.

1st: I feel a bit "bad" because i come along with my problem in the "worst time" of the year...help-wise.

Since a week i am using a new Graficcard: ATI XFX HD6870
Before that, it was a NVIDIA-card.
(I have no knowledge in programming (just lego-style), but i have the feeling it is something with the grafic.)

(i know i will test my old grafic-card over the weekend, when i find no solution. ..like an addict)

...After installing my old Asus Nvidia8800GTX.....IT IS WORKING again. Superb.

I hope the problem with the ATI-driver, or what ever it is, will be solved soon, so i can use my new card.
..Should have gone for Nvidia again..

Was that with the latest ATI drivers? Otherwise you might want to try to enable the use OpenGL acceleration preference in Bidule and see if it is any better (assuming that the standalone works fine with the newer video card)

Yes, latest driver.

Yea..today, i read about the OpenGL switch in the manual and thought the same. But first i have to build the card back in...(no prob).
I could not remember seeing this option before.

New card is built back in...and the switch worked. Nice.
CPU usage is normal atm.

I'm having the EXACT PROBLEM the original poster of this thread had, but in Nuendo 64-bit under Windows 7 64-bit.

My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 4870 and what I see onscreen is exactly the same as what's shown in this thread.

Was there ever an official fix found for this issue? I'm going to try installing the latest driver from ATI and see what happens.

***UPDATE!: I just downloaded and installed the latest ATI drivers and this problem is NOT FIXED by them. What's next?

Did you enable the Use OpenGL Acceleration preference (which can be done in the standalone and will be picked up by the VST) ?
Do you have the latest ATI drivers?
