easy way to randomize steps in a sequencer

hi,

i use the midi 16 stepsequencer. what is the easiest way to randomize only the steps not the value or bpm ?

In the params window, go to Value and BPM and check the 'Locked' checkbox for each one.

but it works only in the lock window (for me)

can this be done with manual note (i need a send command after every change)

After you lock value/bpm, select apply and close the parameters window, selecting the random button doesn't work?

After you get the above working, there are several different ways to do this.
Easy: with a midi device you can use "midi learn" with the Step Seq random button.
Sending other messages suggests parameter linking to Step Seq "random" using the main Bidule Parameters window. Difficult to know what's best from your request.
